OPEN!
PATRAM 2010 will cover a
wide range of issues and Authors are invited to
submit abstracts for proposals of papers which may
be considered for Oral Presentations and Panel Sessions
on any topic relevant to the Symposium, including the
following:
- package technology and design, safety assessments
including criticality, risk assessment, components,
materials and analytical methods;
- package manufacture and testing for all materials,
including nuclear fuel cycle materials, radioactive
sources, pharmaceuticals, process and decommissioning
wastes;
- interim storage for spent fuel and wastes
including both package and transport considerations;
- transport operations for all modes of transport,
sea, land and air, including experience, radiation
protection and emergency preparedness;
- security including package and operational
impacts;
- regional emerging issues including nature,
timescales and proposals;
- regulation including implementation, review,
harmonisation and future trends;
- sustaining shipments
including experience/database, denial and delay,
forecasting and future options;
- management controls, systems, compliance, QA and
audit;
- public acceptability, communication and
monitoring.
PATRAM 2010 also will have a Poster Session and
abstracts are invited for this.
